GOD IS LOVE! Its not just something He does, it is His very nature. He can’t STOP loving us. He can’t do anything that would go against His nature. His love is powerful, fierce, protective, nurturing, sweet, and unending. And it is FOR us, never against us. That’s why we can rest in His love. That’s why we can trust Him to always do what’s good for us. We can put our faith in Him, because He is always faithful to love us better than we could ever love ourselves. God loves us as much as He loves His own Son! When He sees us, He sees innocence. He sees perfectly created beings that He has chosen to share His Glory with. And as you begin to understand His love for you, it naturally pours out of you to the people around you. It is effortless. It makes people hungry and thirsty to know God the way you do. Just by living in the understanding that God loves you makes others want to know His love too. We love because He first loved us. It is the very heart of evangelism. So let God love you today. Not that you can ever stop Him from loving you, but you can definitely decide how you want to receive it. It isn’t selfish to go to Him to receive from Him. It is the very thing He wants from you! Let Him reveal to you how deep and wide His love is for you. Let Him pour out His affection for you. Soak it up! It is a never-ending journey to discover how much He loves you. You can never reach the end of it because it never runs out. And as you live in His love, watch what He does around you. See how it changes the atmosphere and who it touches. Changing the world is easy when you know how much you are loved!
